COMO Maalifushi gains popularity among surfers
The COMO Hotels' newest island resort called COMO Maalifuhsi is a luxury island resort entirely surrounded by corals. It is the first and only resort located in the southern reaches of the tranquil Thaa Atoll which is a 60 minutes Seaplane flight away from the Velana International Airport. Choosing the right Accommodation
Laid over the shallow lagoon, the over-water villas are built of wooden walkways that feature their private terraces with a view of the Indian ocean ideal for couples. The open-plan features a kind sized bedroom with floor to ceiling French doors that open up to a private terrace with a pool and sun loungers and an outdoor dining table. The bedroom has a large living area with a huge sofa, a 46 LED/plasma satellite TV, Nespresso machine, and a bathroom with a sunken bathtub with the option of indoor and outdoor showers. Beach Villas - Just meters from the beach, these one-bedroom villas have simple interiors that are flooded by the natural light, courtesy of the large windows, and French doors giving the guests excess from the bathroom to the outdoor terrace with sun loungers, dining area, and a private plunge pool. The villa also has a separate living area with a 55 TV, a Nespresso machine, and a 46 TV and a king-size bed in the bedroom. The bathroom features are sunken bathtub big enough for two as well as indoor and outdoor showers and are also free for ages 0-2.
Two Bedroom Beach Suites - This stylish accommodation space of 131 square-meters offers the same facilities as the Beach villa but with two bedrooms. The second room offers twin beds and a small shower making the suite ideal for families.
Two Bedroom Beach Villas - These two-bedroom villas of 145 square-meters have their access to the beach and the private pool. This elegant simple interior with a living room, one king, and one smaller twin room are fitted with TVs and are lit up with the large windows to make the most of the island setting with French doors that open on to the terrace with a private pool from the bedroom.
Two Bedroom Beach House - This 178 square-meter beach house with a large and spacious balcony and living room is fitted with TVs in each room and a bathroom with separate shower stalls.
