Loss for MTDC in last quarter of 2012
Popular local news Haveeru Daily reports the Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) suffers a loss of $1.2m in the final quarter of 2012. MTDC owns and currently operates Herathera Island Resort in Addu Atoll. The company recently opened the island for lease and did not get a suitable offer. Now is a good time for a strong international companies to invest in Maldives.
